Look at your finished Editorial Illustration from a semiotic point of view… in other words, as a construction of signs and meaning.

• Using Saussure’s Semiotic Model, analyze your illustration as a sign — a Signifier / Signified. Write a short concise paragraph of how these play off each other to create the illustration’s meaning.
